Kresge Mega Light Display

Nightly from 6-10 pm thru January 3

This house is covered with ten trailer truckloads of lights with an 18 train HO scale model railroad, bubble machines, games, inflatables, 70 ft tree and a 100 piece manger scene. Free.

Holiday Tree Lighting Gulfport

An evening of festive music by the Gulfport Recreation Division and you can join the mayor and City Council in caroling. There will be refreshments and a visit from Santa.

Snowfest and Santa Parade

Saturday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m.

North Straub Park

The day starts with the annual Santa Parade beginning at Central Avenue and Fifth Street. After the parade, 65 tons of snow are blown into St. Petersburg's North Straub Park, bringing family snow activities including ice-skating, toboggan rides, make-and-take crafts, climbing wall, reindeer races, visits with Santa, a giant greeting card display and kiddie land (for ages 3-5).

Madeira Beach Festival of Lights Holiday Boat Parade

Friday, Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Maderia Beach City Hall

Decorated boats meet next to City Hall and travel through the Intracoastal Waterway and canals to the John's Pass Bridge. Traffic over the Tom Stuart/Welch Causeway drawbridge will be delayed for up to 15 minutes while the parade cruises under the bridge.

St. Pete Beach and South Pasadena Holiday Lighted Boat Parade Festival

Friday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m.

St. Pete Beach Community Center and Horan Park

Join the City of St. Pete Beach for a holiday tree lighting ceremony with live music, crafts, visits with Santa, the M.A.D.D. Festival of Trees and a view of the boats as they pass south toward the Bayway Bridge.

St. Pete Illuminated Boat Parade and Holiday Festival

Saturday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.

The event leading up the St. Petersburg Illuminated Boat Parade (which starts about 6 p.m.) includes children's activities, food and drink vendors, and live music by the Ries Brothers, Brother Brownlow, the Southside Bulldogs and the Troy Duncan Band. Benefits the Children's Dream Fund and other Rotary charities.

Want to watch the boat parade but not interested in the festival? There are still plenty of places to watch for free, including along the Vinoy Basin sea wall, at Demens Landing and on the Pier approach and Pier.

Gulfport Lighted Christmas Boat Parade

Members of the Boca Ciega Yacht Club decorate their sail and power boats for this 27th annual holiday water parade. Begins at the marina, travels past the Williams Pier into the canals of Town Shores Condominiums, through the Pasadena Yacht Club Estates and by Isla Del Sol. Toys benefit Operation Santa.

Price: Spectators free; donation of two or more unwrapped toys for boat entry.

Treasure Island Lighted Boat Parade

Saturday, Dec. 8 at 6:20 p.m.

Approximately 100 boats all decked out for the holiday compete in this annual parade. Starts at The Club, goes through the Treasure Island Bridge into Boca Ciega Bay and follows the coast line to end at John's Pass. A pre-parade poolside party at the Club begins at 4:30 p.m. with visits with Santa, live entertainment, free hot dogs, chili, hot cider, Christmas cake, coffee and a cash bar. Bring one unwrapped new toy or make a cash donation to The Edward's Family Foundation to the Recreation Department at City Hall or Treasure Bay on Paradise Boulevard by Dec. 7 for a family pass to watch the parade from a spectacular vantage point and admission to the pre-parade party.

City of Indian Rocks Beach Holiday Lighted Boat Parade

For a great view, pull up a chair dockside at the Holiday Inn Harbourside for 26th Annual City of Indian Rocks Beach Holiday Lighted Boat Parade. The line up will begin at 6:45 p.m. and the procession will head north under the Walsingham/SR 688 Bridge and will follow the intra-coastal waterway finishing at Harbor Drive North. This judged event is always a crowd pleaser.
